Fairhaven Under Fives Centre will reopen on Tuesday 9th June to vulnerable and key workers children. Further to the government’s announcement on Thursday 28th May, we are working hard to ensure that we can provide the safest possible environment for your children to attend, as we begin to move forward into our phased reopening of nursery. We look forward to welcoming back a small group of children and will continue to support those remaining children and families by providing weekly home learning and online support. Thank you to all of our families for your ongoing kindness and support during this extremely challenging time, we hope that you continue to stay safe over the coming weeks.
Established since 1991, Fairhaven Under Fives provides a happy, safe and stimulating environment where your child's individual needs will be nurtured. All children are given the opportunity to grow and develop through positive, social, emotional and physical experiences.
The ‘Early Years Foundation Stage’ begins at birth and continues until the end of a child’s reception year in Primary School. This period is a distinct stage of learning with its own Learning Goals. Many children will already have had experience of group settings such as parent/toddler groups or with a childminder, but for some coming to our setting will be a completely new experience.
Meet our staff
All practitioners are highly qualified and hold all relevant training such as paediatric certificates in First Aid, Food Hygiene and Child Protection, to ensure the highest quality of care is provided. Staff attend regular training courses in order to update and maintain their skills as Early Years Practitioners particularly in the areas for which they have special responsibility.
We are currently in the process of offering places for children to start in September 2018. For further information please contact us.
