Meet the Staff
Our team is highly skilled, experienced and passionate about Early Years and providing your children with the best start to their time in education.
Mrs Carter
Manager
Mrs Carter is the Manager; she joined our team in 2017 and has worked in the Early Years sector since 1999.
Mrs Carter is responsible for the overall running of the nursery working alongside staff, students and volunteers to ensure the very best outcomes for all children.
She holds the Early Years Foundation Degree with B.A Hons. She is Child Protection / Safeguarding Officer and is responsible for Health and Safety.
Miss Sims
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Miss Sims has previously worked in a residential children’s home and the early years sector.
She holds a Level 3 in Childcare, a Masters' degree in Education and BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies. Miss Sims has passion for performing arts and is a professional dancer.
Mrs Sheldon
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Mrs Sheldon has worked in the Early Years sector since 2011 and remained in the same setting until joining us in September 2021.
She holds a Level 3 in childcare and is passionate about continually developing her role as a practitioner by accessing a wealth of training.
Mrs Lewis
Assistant Manager
Mrs Lewis is Deputy Manager and has worked at the nursery since January 2017, she has been primarily based in the Early Years sector since 2008.
She is Level 3 qualified and has gained the Early Years Foundation Degree. Mrs Lewis is our SENCO she works closely with our staffing team, outside agencies and families ensuring children with additional needs are given the best possible support. Mrs Lewis is currently working towards a Level 3 Special educational needs qualification.
Mrs Titley
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Mrs Titley has worked in the early years sector for many years previous to joining us. She holds a Level 3 in childcare and has recently completed the Early Years Foundation Degree. She is currently continuing her studies at university.
Mrs Titley is inspired by her recent university studies, she is keen to embed her new found knowledge into her work with children and their families.
Mrs Baker
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner
Mrs Baker is our newest member of the team who joined us in 2022.
Mrs Baker holds a Level 3 qualification and is currently completing training to refresh her knowledge. Mrs Baker has taken to her role as a key worker very quickly. She has exceptional skills in observing and reporting on children's progress.
