Meet the Staff

Our team is highly skilled, experienced and passionate about Early Years and providing your children with the best start to their time in education.
Mrs Dawn Carter
Mrs Jemma Lewis
Deputy Manager

Mrs Carter is the Manager; she joined our team in 2017 and has worked within Early Years since 1999. Before joining us in 2017, Mrs Carter worked in a management position in her previous post for 4 years. She holds the Early Years Foundation Degree and B.A Hons. She is Child Protection and Safeguarding Officer. She has special responsibility for Personal Social Emotional Development.

Mrs Lewis is Deputy Manager and has worked at the nursery since January 2017.  Mrs Lewis began her career in education back in 2007, starting in Key Stage 2 but soon found her passion lay in Early Years and has been primarily  based in Early Years since 2008. She has recently gained her Early Years Foundation Degree and has special responsibility for Physical Development and Understanding the World, as well as Health and Safety Officer.

Mrs Philippa Howells

Mrs Howells has worked at the nursery since 2012, and is qualified at Level 3 CACHE Early Learning and Childcare. Mrs Howells is our SENCO and works closely with our staff, outside agencies and families to ensure children and with additional needs are given the best possible support to meet their individual needs. Mrs Howells also has special responsibility for Communication, language and Literacy.

Mrs Sarah Fradgley
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

Mrs Fradgley has worked for the nursery since 2003. She is qualified at NVQ3 Childcare and Education and has a Level 5 diploma in Leadership and Management and NVQ5 in Leadership and Management.

Mrs Fradgley is our resources coordinator and is a highly skilled and experienced practitioner, with a passion for engaging children in creative play and has special responsibility for Expressive Art and Design.

Mrs Louise Cresswell
Level 3 Early Years Practitioner

Mrs Cresswell is our newest member of the team. With us since 2017, she began as a student and has recently completed her Level 3, Early Years Educator qualification.

Mrs Cresswell is also a qualified dance teacher, with qualifications in dance and performing arts, and is experienced in working with children from 3 years old.

Mrs Cresswell has special responsibility for Mathematics and Community Liaison.
